Ben is our Dean of Studies. Growing up as a missionary kid had a range of challenges, not least when he returned 'home' to the UK and found he didn't really fit in. Ever since, Ben has held a range of educational and missional posts, and we're delighted to have him on board with us at FieldPartner! He lives with his wife Shiyani and their two children. Check out our interview with Ben here.

Christine was brought up in a mission environment – her parents served together for over forty years as missionaries in Africa, where she spent her early years. This unique background has helped her to be the support and ministry partner for her husband Ross in the various countries and continents to which the Lord has led them over the years. A qualified coach and cross-cultural tutor, as well as blogger on the topic of crossing cultures, Christine has lived and breathed this for decades!
No problem - you can sign up anyway and opt-in to receive the recording afterwards.
Anybody who cares about, or wants to learn more about Third Culture Kids (TCKs). We think it will be particularly helpful for anyone who IS a TCK, or is a parent of a TCK. But it will also be useful for people who are engaged with TCKs in any capacity.
Please do! The event is free - the more the merrier. We know there are millions of TCKs out there, and we want to be a part of equipping and helping them, and those that care for them.
The presentation section will last approximately 45 minutes, with an opportunity for questions afterwards.
The Antioch Factor is a deep dive into the early chapters of the book of Acts, viewed through the lens of the Great Commission. The question at its heart: what does a New Testament church look like?
Ross Paterson presents a stark choice that no Christian or church can avoid making – whether we become a Jerusalem church or Antioch Church. Ross unpacks what that means and its critical importance from the events of the early church in Acts. Why did Paul find Jesus in Damascus, not in Jerusalem? Why was Paul sent out with Barnabas from Antioch, not from Jerusalem? This course will give these answers, alongside a host of practical pointers for you to apply.
