Course Creator

Christine Paterson

Christine was brought up in a mission environment – her parents served together for over forty years as missionaries in Africa, where she spent her early years. This unique background has helped her to be the support and ministry partner for her husband Ross in the various countries to which the Lord has led them.

Your Tutor

Ben Gilbert

Ben is our Dean of Studies. Growing up as a missionary kid had a range of challenges, not least when he returned 'home' to the UK and found he didn't really fit in. Ever since, Ben has held a range of educational and missional posts, and we're delighted to have him on board with us at FieldPartner! He's currently based in Sri Lanka with his wife Shiyani and their children.

FAQs

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

I don't know if I can afford this!

We don't want anybody to miss out on the basis of cost. As a non-profit, we do have solutions available for those who might struggle to pay. Please don't hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to discuss the options with you.

How long does the course last?

This will vary depending if you take the self-study option, or join a cohort. The cohort will last four weeks - with a session each week. Self-study will take as long as you want to take.

Either way, you will still have lifetime access to the material after you have completed it.

Will I be able to connect with other students?

All students are invited to participate in our free FieldPartner Community Facebook Page.

Cohort students will also be added to a private group with their fellow learners to connect with one another!

How will we meet as a cohort?

Meetings will take place on Zoom (you do not need to pay for Zoom to join them).

Meeting details will be sent out in advance of each session.

Does it matter which timezone I am located in?

We aim to serve all areas of the world. Our Dean of Studies, Ben, will coordinate with signups to find a time which suits all group members.
